Knockout Rose
Addie enjoys the backyard Retreat...but she would rather retreat inside the house in the air conditioning.
This rose looks so soft and fluffy...it reminds me of cotton candy.
My coffee got cold Sunday morning while I was waiting to snap a picture of this qucik little bird coming in and out of the bird house to feed it's babies.

Have a seat
I bought this plant at Barton Springs nursery in Austin, Texas. I thought the tag said it was a Shumard, but I am not sure that is the correct name. Whatever it is, it is beautiful and adds color to the deck.
Marcel likes to hang out on th front porch under the wisteria.
